The different kinds of ways we can hold each other's hands.
Dances have different ways of holding hands. In zouk, you’ll still find some variety. However, the most popular and versatile hand hold is the spiderman hand hold.

Spiderman Hand Hold
You can practice this hand hold by yourself by doing a spiderman shape: 🤘 (however with your thumb out), and attaching both your left and right hand together by interlocking the middle two fingers. You can then try rotating your hands around and see how the inner fingers can slide without breaking the connection.
You should be able to rotate your fingers 360 degrees through your other hands fingers, push, and pull. This will make leading turns comfortable down the line. The lead can also use the index finger to wrap around the side of the follow’s hand, giving a little bit more control.
